Lila has a background in both elementary and dance education. She grew up training and competing in dance throughout her childhood and high school years, while also serving on her high school’s dance team. She later continued her education in college, majoring in elementary education and minoring in dance. Since beginning her freelance career, she has had the opportunity to teach, choreograph, and work with numerous studios across the South. She has also served on multiple adjudication panels and currently teaches at several studios throughout North Carolina. In addition to studio instruction and choreography, Lila founded and leads Audience of One, a faith-based dance program in Charlotte that encourages dancers to deepen their faith through workshops, training opportunities, and intentional community-centered experiences.
