Jade Jordan, originally from Goldsboro, NC, embarked on her dance journey at the tender age
of 3 under the tutelage of Goldsboro School of Ballet. Her dedication to dance led her to pursue
her education at Meredith College, where she graduated in May 2021 with a B.A. in Dance. Her
specialized focus was in Private Studio Teaching, and she also earned a Professional
Performance Certificate.
During her time at Meredith College, Jade was a key member of Meredith Dance Theatre and
actively contributed to the Meredith Improv Group. In recognition of her commitment and talent,
she served as Vice President of the dance honor society, Meredith Dance Association. Her
remarkable performance skills and exponential growth were recognized through awards
bestowed upon her by the Meredith College dance faculty. Jade had the privilege of showcasing
her artistry and skills at esteemed events such as the American College Dance Association and
the North Carolina Dance Education Organization. While at Meredith, Jade also had the
opportunity to perform works choreographed by Danah Bella and Maleek Washington.
Jade boasts proficiency in a diverse array of dance styles, encompassing ballet, tap, jazz,
pointe, Irish, modern, and contemporary. Over the past 6 years, she has continued to grow as
both a teacher and choreographer, expanding her knowledge and experience across a variety of
dance disciplines. During this time, Jade became Acrobatic Arts Module 1 Certified, furthering
her education in acrobatic technique and safe, progressive training. As she has developed her
choreography, she has received numerous awards at competitions, including Choreographer of
the Day, Most Entertaining, Judges’ Awards, and multiple overall awards, including Elite Grand
Champion at Nationals.
Jade is passionate about creating choreography that is unique to each dancer, highlighting their
individual strengths, personalities, and artistry. She strives to create a positive and encouraging
environment where dancers can grow in their technique, confidence, and love for dance.
Whether teaching, performing, or choreographing, Jade continues to pursue opportunities to
grow as an artist and inspire the next generation of dancers.
