Daniel Blackwell began dancing at the age of six, initially specializing in hip-hop. By age eleven, he had expanded his training to include a wide range of styles, including contemporary, lyrical, modern, jazz, acro, ballet, and tap. He trained at Center Stage Dance Academy under the direction of Maegan Kittrell and Rebecca Lee, where he developed a strong technical foundation and passion for performance.
Throughout his competitive dance career, Daniel trained within the Dance Masters of America Association and earned numerous prestigious titles, including Junior Mr. Dance of South Carolina, Teen Mr. Dance of South Carolina, and Mr. Dance of South Carolina. He also represented South Carolina at the national level, competing for the titles of Junior Mr. Dance of America, Teen Mr. Dance of America, and Mr. Dance of America.
Daniel is currently a professional dancer with the The Alabama Theatre, where he performs in a live variety show six nights a week. Through his work on stage, he continues to pursue his passion for entertaining audiences and sharing his God-given talent through performance.
