Ashley started dancing at a young age in upstate New York traveling from state to state for competition, convention, and performances. She attended SUNY Brockport where her choreography was featured in student choreography showcases, Strasser showcases, and across numerous competitive stages. Ashley trained in modern technique, such as Horton and Laban. She also has extensive training in jazz technique, ballet, contemporary, lyrical, and hip-hop. Ashley took deeper dives into dance history to understand the roots of many dance styles including African dance. She also has experience with her college dance team which performed halftime routines and competed in pom, lyrical, and hip-hop categories. In her professional career, Ashley is a competitive choreographer and technical teacher, winning various judges awards, entertainment awards and choreography awards. Outside of dance, Ashley can be spotted in numerous films on Hulu and Netflix, including Big Time Adolescence, Paper Spiders, and many more! Ashley looks forward to creating many more meaningful pieces in the future!
